Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and talented UI designer to design and shape the look and feel of our web application. The ideal candidate will have experience working in close collaboration with developers, product designers, and UX designers. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement the visual look and feel of our web application including layout, styles, graphics, and icons
Understand current tooling and technical possibilities for UX/UI elements and implementations and design to those possibilities
Create and maintain a style and design guide for the application that serves as the reference for developers implementing new features
Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and mockups
Prototype UIs at appropriate levels of fidelity
Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
Work with both pixel based and actual HTML/CSS mockups
Work closely with development team to implement and refine visual aspects of the application including directly working in HTML/CSS to dial in designs
Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.
Requirements:
Three or more years of experience and proven portfolio of web application UI design
Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and user flows that have been implemented into a working web application
Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision, UXPin, Quartz.
Experience with UX mockup tools such as Figma, Balsamiq
Strong understanding of front-end design elements: HTML5, CSS3 Javascript and ability to work directly in these technologies to refine the design in working code
Experience working in an iterative and collaborative development process where features are rapidly being built and constantly improved
Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to the team
Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.

We are looking for a seasoned web application front end engineer who will work with a small collaborative team using modern tools and best practices to design and build the front end of our web infrastructure. The chance to contribute in meaningful ways and see your work out in the world will be available from the start. Successful candidates will have a minimum of three years’ recent experience either with all of the skills listed below.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code with solid programming fundamentals
Understand current tooling and technical possibilities for UX/UI elements and implementations and work closely with UI designers to ensure mockups can be transferred to reality
Design and maintain front end deployment tooling and processes to allow continuous software delivery
Develop JS based “widgets” for integration with customer web sites
Design and implement automated UI testing
Collaborate and work alongside design, research, and product partners
Advocate for UX while doing UI implementation
Skills:
3+ years’ experience as a front-end developer with React ( or similar reactive framework such as Vue )
Expert proficiency in pure JavaScript in addition to front-end frameworks
A portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of software design principles (plugins, node packages, etc.).
Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor tools.
Expert knowledge of HTML5 and its best practices.
Ability to take UI designs and mockups and implement them to pixel perfection
A history of deconstructing user behavior to create an improved experience for users
Proficiency using Git version control.
Ideally Python, PHP, or Ruby proficiency
Ideally experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure

We are looking for a seasoned web application engineer who will work with a small collaborative team to build out and manage our entire web infrastructure with a focus on the backend code. Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of the overall web architecture with a pragmatic focus on delivering a working product
Design and deployment of our database
Design and construction of our REST API
Integrate our front-end UI with the constructed API – either directly or in collaboration with front-end developers
Design and development of automated testing as a cornerstone of the development process
Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
Understand the product and how it relates to solving the end user problems
Have an awareness and understanding of technical constraints, resources, and opportunities available – speed standards, scalability constraints, security principles, and internationalization best practices. Alert to technical opportunities that can improve the product
Communicate and work cross-functionally with other functions on a rapidly iterating and evolving product
