Nestor is serving customers across the globe, from small businesses to large enterprises in various industry verticals.
We’d like to see
- 3+ years of experience in software development, primarily on backend or fullstack
- solid knowledge of Node.js, ES6, Express.js
- in-depth knowledge of Typescript/Javascript
- hands-on experience with MySQL databases
- good knowledge and understanding of asynchronous web technologies, specifically REST and microservices
- experience working with Redis
- 2+ years of experience with AWS Services – EC2, S3, Cloud front, SES, Code deployment
- practical experience and knowledge of scaling, data protection, and security controls
- experience in integrating third-party API’s
- a high standard of quality and craft with an eye for engineering detail
- good understanding of building tools like Webpack or Babel
- experience working with WebSockets is a plus
- an entrepreneurial mindset, able to take responsibility for tasks
- self-starter, with a strong drive to develop professionally
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job responsibilities
- design and develop large-scale web applications
- collaborate with the team on defining the product strategy and execution
- be a leader for the culture we are building and promote our values
- exercise your curiosity and grow your technical, product, and soft skills
- design and integrate third-party APIs that work like magic together with the backend services
- take initiative in improving the product to address pain points and come up with robust solutions
- lead by example, offer guidance and support to your teammates
- have conversations with our customers and understand their needs
